The 2014 Chevalier is a blend of 60% cabernet sauvignon, 30% merlot, and 5% petit verdot, giving a wine of great structure that will be a decade old next year. The terroir of Chevalier is like a greenhouse, a unique ecosystem that the grapes (mostly) benefit from. This is the concept of terroir that is so dear to many in France, especially Bordeaux. ight bank of Bordeaux, to the east of the Gironde Estuary, the Domaine itself is lcoated in a clearing in the middle of forest which protects the vines from extreme temperatures, sometimes called a secret garden in the Graves. Located in Graves, to the southwest of the Gironde Estuary, the Domaine itself is located in a clearing in the middle of forest which protects the vines from extreme temperatures, sometimes called a secret garden in the Graves. The wine scored high with typical notes of black currant, cedar, earth, tobacco and mocha around a backbone of fine tannins, and fresh acidity with a lengthy finish and great depth of character. The 2016 vintage is comprised of 55% cabernet, 37% merlot and the 8% balance is cabernet franc and petit verdot. This is one of the most well-priced wines of Bordeaux and always well regarded, garnering high scores from critics. 30ha of the property are dedicated to the vines where the varieties of cabernet sauvignon, merlot, cabernet franc and petit verdot are grown. By June, 1955 the estate had only 7 ha of vines and the Zuger family began to restore the grounds and the castle. In the 1800's the property was handed to Jean-Baptiste Saint-Exupery enriching the name of the Chateau with HIS name. This exceptional terroir goes all the way back to 1697 when it was owned by the Escousses family. ![]() Exupery is a 3rd growth of Margaux that sits right next to Chateau Margaux- one of the 5-first growths of Bordeaux. This is, at most, a diverting way to spend a few minutes, but nothing much more entertaining than that. The Chateau Malescot St. i don't mind spending money on a game now and then to support the developers, but it has to be a game that is actually fun to play. the game just leaves me with the feeling over all of wanting to be a cash grab - losing 97% of levels by missing one object, and then being prompted to buy an extra 25 seconds? They want you to have to use the tools and extra time to actually complete levels and then pay money to buy more tools and coins. Carl the assistant is actually a little creepy, if you ask me. The game is clearly a variation on a theme with Playrix's other game, Homescapes, where you fix up an old mansion with the points you earn by playing levels, but because the levels are so difficult, and each task requires a surprisingly high amount of stars to complete, it's slow going to make much progress with that aspect of the game. I often fail levels by one object that, when it's revealed, is barely visible or recognizable as what they claim it is. I've always enjoyed hidden object games, and I've gotten pretty good at them over the years, but I don't do very well with this one. Questions?
